Delicate scallops glazed with miso and honey, one of the dishes guests return for time and again. Prepared with care, served with pride.
Five stars well deserved! I ordered oysters, which Dan, the boss, expertly shucked in front of me. He has apparently done tens of thousands, doesn't use a chainmail glove and still has all his fingers! The enormous prawns were well cooked a la plancha and served with a tasty anchovy and garlic dipping sauce. With a couple of bottles of Asahi and a pleasant atmosphere six invertebrates made a really lovely dinner!
First time trying it this evening and I have to say I'm so pleased. Nice quirky place. Bit in-between a restaurant / bar. The staff were so friendly and smiley. Lovely meeting the owner Dan. Highly recommend the miso honey scallops and the gigantic king prawns from South America nom nom. Would defo go back again!!
Unfortunately food and service was too delicious so I didn't have time to do any photos of food. If you are looking for a place with sea food this is probably the best one in the town. Everything what I tried was fresh and prepared with LOVE. All of family stuff was spectacular and they gave us the best service! I definitely come back.
